In todays Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful black and white infrared landscape image and discusses the following points:
- an IR converted camera as a great option for shooting landscapes
- how well a hard quality of light can work in IR captured landscapes
- making composition choices about formal and dynamic symmetry based on the structure of the first subject that draws your eye
- how working with repetition can help to create visual unity
- digital gardening small areas of local contrast to help simplify and high contrast landscape image
Darkening the grass just brings attention to that area... Craig is correct about the rocks though, they should be darkened or removed.
