White smoke = Lack of compression
Blue smoke = Oil burning
Black smoke = Completely burned fuel, but the fuel/air ratio is off leaving behind particulate matter

white smoke is not bad either its just the fuel that also didnt ignite because the engine is still cold. there is no burning oil

nice truck sounds good just don't rev it when it is cold bin there done that i had a 2000 7.3 i rev it when it was cold and it blow up if that wouldn't of happen i wouldn't have my new 6.7

yea rev the truck when it is cold are u stupid that is a good way to blow the truck up white smoke is NOT burning oil it is a either a bad turbo or a cold turbo i got a 2011 f350 with banks six guns tuner and def eliminator and 5 inch turbo back banks exhaust it smoke white when a start it cold

@linkdink54 actually most diesel gas is mixxed to help with cold starts
