he cut the scenes with the two women, who were supposed to be in the film. but im glad he did so, the film cannot turn out to be more perfect than what it is now.

agreed.
this video gives even much more insight to the movie.
the "behind the scenes" actually made me realise that happy together is a movie, a fake and not just a real life story of two depondants in love.
