Since you guys like to make fun of the old digitalrev guy I'm guessing he's not around anymore?

Both the people in the comments section arguing in the comment section need to get laid. Badly

@callowaymotorcompany Registered Respiratory Therapist/certified anesthetic assistant with double degrees in Health Sciences and Biology. So no, sorry, no lies here. Again, I have offered a counter-argument and you have failed to try to bring any sources to the table apart from insulting me in every reply (yes, I insulted you in my first). You have refused to offer any of your studies. So, I would say this is finished. Have a nice day.

@mortalitusmedicinus You're point?
Hahaha! Yeah, everyone on youtube can tell no lies. Im sure your a scientist, just like the 8 year old down the street is an astronaut.
No valid counter-argument? Check.
No actual supporting evidence? Check.
Claiming to be a professional? Check.
Passive aggressive smiley? Check.
Game, set, match. You really sealed it with that last one, bravo. Better luck next time.

@callowaymotorcompany I find it rather telling that I've insulted you once, and you continue to insult me in every reply. For what it's worth, not that it really matters, I hold a degree in Biology and am one of those "scientists" you mentioned, so unless YOU can cite sources backing your opinions up then yes, we are done here. Enjoy being wrong :)

@mortalitusmedicinus Yeah, it was. When people think of animals, they think of everything that isnt a plant. Maybe you're just stupid? Ill go with that.
Why would i waste my time looking for some obscure study that goes against everything already known? That's not how it works in the real world, bud.
Presumptuous? Yeaah. Right. How about you take that one up with the masses of scientists then. As if i made this up. Its well researched and proven. Thank you, and goodnight.

you guys are totally talent-free :-)
-
@callowaymotorcompany Actually, your point was NOT crystal clear. You said most animals, and when people see "animals" they don't often think of fish or lobsters or crabs. They think of birds, horses, deer, etc. If you can't be bothered to actually look for the studies, then I can't be bothered to cite them. Plants do not have the nervous system or brain to feel pain. Scientists barely understand how WE feel pain, so it's rather presumptuous to say some animals don't.
-
@mortalitusmedicinus My point is crystal clear if you know how to read.
And since you claim goes against proven facts, care to name your sources?
Btw, saying some animals not feeling pain is against natural biology (Not an actual term, isnt all biology nautral, hence BIOlogy?) is about as stupid as saying plants not feeling pain goes against all "natural biology". They feel, but it isnt the discomfort we know as "pain". End of story.
-
@callowaymotorcompany Actually, for what it's worth, fish DO, in fact, feel pain. Lobsters, due to their lack of a centralized brain, probably don't feel pain the way we do, but new research suggests they do feel pain. Again, it goes completely against natural biology for an animal (of any variety) NOT to feel pain. Insects are similar to lobsters; but likely don't experience pain quite the same. I read what you wrote - maybe make your point more clear next time.
