Feature race from 6-13-08

This week I captured a lot of action. I started 11th and finished 4th. With about 7 laps to go the 25 car starts shredding his left rear tire and pitching rubber back at us. He loses control with three to go in turn two- goes off the track and keeps his foot in the throttle. He darts back in the racing groove and hits yours truely hard in the right front. This pretty much ended my charge to the front. With the 61 car suffering from a failed right front wheel bearing I could have passed him for third, but for the second week in a row steering damage made the car a bear to drive in the closing laps.
