  • Look at that! He hit the fucking bull! The guy gets a free steak!

  • Maybe Costner could have a talk with today's big league ball players. They do that crap all the time.

  • I did this to my pitcher onetime back in little league, he was not happy!

I was such an asshole as a catcher, I used to talk to the batters like the fat kid in sandlot. I'm pretty sure that if Heaven exists, and if I go there, it will be a little league field and there will be catcher's gear waiting for me.

"Is that your sister out in right?"

  • The Bull mooing is my favorite part.

  • this team i play for plays at that stadium in durham

  • The whole scene is brilliant:

Nuke: Held it like an egg.

Crash: Yeah and he scrambled the sonofabitch.

  • Hopefully he understands now. 7beers, learn that someone who doesn't speak English as a first language may not understand the nuances of all English words. "Since" means "In the intervening period between the time mentioned and the time under consideration, typically the present." In this case he didn't mean the present, that should have been easy to understand from the context. Besides, the guy learned a second language AND played pro ball for twelve years. Pretty good accomplishments, eh?

  • i pitched 12 years long... do you understand....???

  • If you've been 12 years since 1986, then how come the year is not 1998?

  • those are really the durhambulls....great movie.

  • yes, i love that scene too...! very funny.... i´ve been 12 years a pitcher in german baseball.... since 1986..... we loved that movie...best baseball-movie ever...!!! greetings to all baseball-fans in the world
