Friends?

My cat Morticia views all smaller creatures as prey. So it was very special for me to be able to capture her greeting Godzilla not once, but twice with a friendly nose-to-nose kiss.

This is not uncommon among socialized companions. Both of these animals are smart. They do have an understanding of the environment around them. This includes all creatures that inhabit it (including the food dispenser..yea that's you). Knowing if interaction between companions is possible is a judgment call for the owner.

Neither animal showed any signs of threatening or uncomfortable behavior. The bearded dragon and the cat were inquisitive about the creature their owner also interacts with.
