I agree with both Greg and Susan that "running down the streets with signs" is not enough to create change but I also think the younger generations sometimes rely too heavily on the internet to "take action". Take the Occupy movement for example, most people just tweeted or posted about the movement, considering it a job well done, instead of actually taking to the streets and doing something tangible in protest. While digital media is a useful tool to enable action, its not an end in itself.
