My review of the Case-Mate Fuel battery back up case for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. This case as an integrated battery, which can significantly extend time between recharges.

  • When you say, I can keep the iPhone in the battery and charge both at the same time..

Does the battery have to be on, to charge the phone, or is it charged directly through the cable?

  • The power source charges the battery, and the battery charges the phone. So if you want to have the phone charging while the battery is plugged in, you'll need to have the battery button on.
