There are so very few people who can write, play and sing as well as the great John Sykes. What a talented dude! Can't wait to see what he's got cooking with Mike Portnoy. I can pretty much guarantee it's gonna RULE!!!!!!!

john sykes was the 1987 album. love both bands, but sykes has wrote songs in a similar style to the 1987 whitesnake stuff since, coverdale hasn't come close. i'm not really keen on the new whitesnake tunes though, (except all for love that was a tune) come on sykes get your arse in gear and make some new great tunes

Its a shame so many passive Whitesnake fans have no idea what an influence John Sykes had on the band's music. This could have easily been on Whitesnake's self-titled smash album.
