In this tutorial I'll demonstrate a photographer's workflow (work flow). I show you everything form how to shoot it to finishing it up in Lightroom and Photoshop.
The macro studio that I'm using is built from these instructions: http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/07/how-to-diy-10-macro-photo-studio.html

OBS watch this in full screen HD it's a much better experience!

Why do you change from a higher bit image to a lower bit image. I thought the idea was to keep a higher bit image because it was sharper and more vibrant with the colors.

When you import a RAW image into Light Room, do you convert from RAW to TIFF before you start the process or after you are done editing in Light Room?

Finally, I am missing the big picture why you go from Light Room to Photoshop. What is it in Photoshop that Light Room does not have?

  • @meltdownman1 You're right but honestly I can't personally see a huge difference so I just convert it to jpeg. Lightroom can do everything that camera raw does whereas photoshop can do all the advanced stuff.
