good call man lol

Yeah, good comments - could have been condensed into about a 2:00 bit.
Opening sequence could be reedited to save about a minute or so.
Overall - good content - good analysis - really bad editing.

I'll always have a spot in my heart for Favre because he was as you said one of the greatest QB's in the history of the NFL and he's had so many great achievements along the road with the Packers. But it broke my heart when I kept seeing this legend try and try and keep trying...he started hurting the Legendary Image he had by not letting go. But now Rodgers is going to lead the way on a team with so much talent everywhere I look, every game I watch is my new favorite and it's not stopping...

Probly the thousandth person to say this but damn man...good call lol
And honestly yea I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said about taking a chance and pouring every hope into maybe 1 more SB with Favre. We were far better off letting Rodgers take the reins at QB and seeing what this guy can do...hit some bumps along the road but the kid is going to do SO MANY great things with a GREAT TEAM and I wouldn't have it any other way now. I look everywhere on this team and see greatness now.

Part II - Favre simply didn't think he should have so much stress and pressure put on him simply because he was paid 10X the average of the rest of the team, he didn't like the "rebuilding" Thompson was doing (even though the team was a financial and skill train wreck - Favre wanted to maintain status quo), and Moss broke the camel's back so he "retired". He was pissed when 2 QB's were drafted, he then set about getting his release to the Vikings.
That's why the Packers didn't want him back.

Reason Favre was not catered too any longer-
1) His "lifetime" contract. It was backloaded so his cap hit was taking up 1/7th of the payroll
2) He was tossing too many INT's in critical playoff losses.
3) He was finding it harder and harder to mentally commit the way Thompson was adjusting the team
4) He began to play the ultimate game after Moss was not signed for the 2nd time. He tried to get his release by purposely yanking the Pack's cap room in June (just after they commited it)

@gforce4all When you measure in what Harlan did for Titletown, and Holmgren too, and Sharpe, White, Butler, S. Jones, S. Dotson, Howard, Levens, Bennett, Freeman, Chmura, Winters, then Driver, Green, Sharper, Tauscher, Clifton, Grant, Jennings, Woodson, and Ted Thompson over several years, and toss in that Brunell could have replaced Favre, and all the playoffs killed in the 2000's, and the snotty Me-first attitude starting in 2005, and going to a rival to get revenge, how much love?
