  • very nice tone. love the hollowbody characteristics evident through the distortion. nicely done.

  • What a beautiful guitar....I envy you guy!!!

  • not bad dawg

  • @Quakelord1991 yeah that's what I originally thought too, but then I was looking to buy one and found the cheaper priced ones didn't have the piezo, so I did some more research. I picked up a McCarty Hollowbody II last week for an insane deal. From what I can tell, it's the exact same as a Hollowbody II, but they used to call them McCarty as well.

  • @JoeGorges You're right. I went on PRS' site and found that they both come in separate models. I didn't think that the Hollowbody 2 can be bought without the piezo pickup. I was thinking that their first Hollowbody would have that while the second one would just have the piezo pickup.

  • @Quakelord1991 the only difference isn't the piezo...as you can get that in either model as an OPTION. The difference is that the Hollowbody I has a mahogany back, and the Hollowbody II has a maple back (and they don't make the Hollowbody I anymore). You can tell just by looks which one it is...but only if you can see the back. Don't assume that just because you see no piezo controls that it's a II, and vice versa...

  • 0:40 Hit The Lights!! :)

  • @Quakelord1991

hollowbody 2s come in a model with a piezo, and without one...check the PRS website, I just did...pretty sure the guy knows what guitar he bought, seeing as they list for like $3800
