Interactive Flash Map Tutorial (1 of 2)

This video demonstrates one method or creating a flash based interactive map for use on the web. The map is drawn and made interactive using Xara Xtreme Pro 5.1.


The basic methodology is to:

1. Create a complete finished design on the first frame.
2. Create new empty frames for every roll-over you need
3. Apply mouse-over jumps to the design on the first frame
4. Copy the design (complete with the rollovers) to every frame
5. Modify the rollover objects to make the highlight effect
