Groups and individuals demonstrate in Sechelt BC Canada to remind everyone that amid the massive spending that is currently taking place, there is still an unacceptable amount of poverty.

My guess is that most who attended the event were working people and a few retired individuals all of whom have a social awareness. The genuine poor are usually much too busy just surviving to go on demonstrations.

Seeing as you have a strong yet uninformed opinion, I'll help you out. I co-wrote this song. I am a teacher, a father, a husband, and I work with special needs adults in the community. I also run my own painting company. I don't live like an animal, but am speaking for those who do and have no voice in society. I feel I am making a difference.
