You know what else is stupid? SEATBELT LAWS! It may be frivolous, but if someone doesn't wanna wear a seatbelt (for whatever reason), he shouldn't be forced to. Who does it hurt to not wear a seatbelt other than yourself if you get in an accident? it's your choice.

I despise government telling me what to eat and what not to eat with their stupid FDA food pyramid. Shove it up your ass! And get your damn gov't PSAs off my tv. I despise politicians saying that it's "urgent" to fight obesity through gov't initiatives for "healthier lunches" in schools and getting rid of vending machines in HS. I loathe gov't telling us what we can and can't put it on our own bodies or use our bodies how we want it as long as we aren't harming anyone who's actually alive.

I'm a social libertarian, which means I take conservative and liberal pro-individualist positions on social issues, rather than collectivist bs on gay marriage (from the right-wing side) or nonsense about being anti-smoking from the left. I despise the gov't trying to tell us what we can adn can't hear on tv or the radio or any other broadcast media. I despise nosy parents regulating with the FCC. I despise "safety" and helmet laws. I despise just about every sign of a nanny state.

I loathe the GOP because it's full of uptight white men who are afraid of change and cling too tightly to tradition. I loathe the Democratic Party because they don't know how to be strategic and win elections. It's only after the failures of Republicans for 6 years that the Democrats could finally regain a majority.
Most Democratic politicians also seem to have no spine, and many of them are just too liberal for my taste. I'm conservative on things like crime, and I'm pro-death penalty.
