Nice ! doyou use other wood of the linden tree? I do not know what wood it seems sweet. I mainly use the box, it is hard and good for the details. I finished with horsetail. then the ashes of horsetail with parchment (silicium content)

Linden wood is my main material for carving, sometimes I also use chestnut for bigger sculptures, e.g. for the Mother with Child. Box is certainly very suitable for carving, but it's hard to get here, and if so, only in small pieces.

I usually don't add colour to my sculptures, in most cases only vegetable oil and/or bee wax.
