My Bachelor's Degree

I open and see my Bachelor's degree for the first time.

I do not at all disparage all the comments (mostle mocking) this video has received in its lifetime, but I would like to let all viewers know that my degree IS valuable. Arizona State University thought my degree was so valuable that the institution invited me into its Master's program in Music History, reduced my tuition by half, and hired me as a Teacher's Assistant.

To the person who posted this video: you should not care about what haters think at all. Just make every decision carefully and take pride in what you do. Haters' opinions don't matter at all. For example, a lot of people say that University of Phoenix is scam. But how many of these bashers have a good degree and a good job themselves? How many of them are more educted and more successful than U of P students?  These LOSERS bash everybody else to make themselves feel better. That's all.

This is an incredible honor. While we have a variety of occupations in our society, I feel that we need more people pursuing ambitions in the humanities and fine arts. Humanities helps teach us how to think about and express the human condition.  As well, it reveals great perspectives of beauty, creativity, and cultural awareness. In a world concerned about the price of things, humanities accentuates the value. You should be very proud of your hard work and your accomplishments.

as somone doing a tourism managmnet degree, which by the way i hate, and find it boring. and im only doing it so that i can get a decent job.It annoys me to see people with drama and art degrees. why becuase 1 they probabley enjoy their degree far more then me, and its easy to study somthing your interested in. Secondly these degrees are a drain on sociecty. How are we going to compeat with china when we have millions doing philosophy and arts degrees.
