07 V6 Mustang Straight Pipes into Shelby Takeoff mufflers

This is a vid of my new exhaust setup. Just had it installed today, sounds even better in person, my dad said when I started it up "sounds like a v8."

Too bad it's missing 2 cylinders haha but yeah sounds deep like my dad's 02 GT

@wonderbreadkw you're in luck! The mufflers I found on ebay only cost 35 bucks with 36 dollar shipping, so a total of 71 dollars, and the straight piping cost a total of 100 dollars. This brought it to a grand total of only 171 dollars. I think you can find them on ebay still. GT takeoff mufflers from greenleafprime

It definitely has an aggressive sound to it. Close to a V8.

in case you're not familiar with the terminology, a car with a muffler isn't "straight piped"......yeah my car has a straight pipe into the factory muffler. i'm king of the world.

i got a 06 and put dual magnaflows from the headers back and it makes that puttung noise at idle. Does anyone know what that could be or any help? thanks

I got my dual exhuast put on, straight piped, so no x or h pipe. Sounds kinda like a Honda. I cried! Will a x pipe or h pipe give me a deeper sound at all? I also lost hp... Less backpreddure? How do I fix it? Urs sounds nice. What setup I'd yours? I have a 09 v6
