@Gooner361 - I agree. I think the Kangal might do better if something attacked it's master or herd. You never see damage like Pitt fights. Even when wolves fight for territory to the death it is like once they know they are beaten they give up. I think that is natures way of species survival. The winner doesn't lose also. Mankind stripped anything natural from the pits.

The apbt needs such an outlet for all its energy you couldnt even begin to put a dent in their energy who are you kidding. You keep saying terrier but you forget the apbt is a perfect blend of terrier and bulldog and not to be taken lightly.

@surleyguru - they use other dogs to hunt, bear, lion and other large game terriers cannot do it. They attack the beast and are always killed. When I am old and no longer hunt or travel in wild wilderness areas. When I just want to sit in the yard then and only then would I consider getting a APBT.

@mangravy2000 All terriers have a natural prey drive that is unmatched, so I would say that matched with their determination makes them master hunters. Besides I was never talking about hunting with the apbt although they do excell at this task, I simply said they are the warriors of the dog kingdom willing to take on all comers regardless of size. I was simply pointing out to dinrise97 there ability to take on a dog much larger and win when you chimed in.

@cat5fan How can I ignore something you never wrote, this is the first time you have said this to me numb skull. Im sure sometimes they did remove teeth and claws but not always. The breed would still fight till the death regardless thats just the heart they had that weak people like you just will never understand. Only the quickest and strongest specimens survived leaving them to dominate the gene pool shaping the breed into what it is today.Such an athlete can do anything asked of it.

@surleyguru - "All terrier were dismissed" that means they were not used to hunt. Man has never taken the Terriers to any frontier because they can't hunt, protect or herd. They were breed for entertainment. I gather you can't read because the whole passage is right on the subject.

@surleyguru AGAIN, READ and don't ignore it!!! Bears had teeth removed, claws removed and was chained to the ground. Bull had its horns trimmed and dull and chained to the ground. Lions same thing, claws and teeth removed and chained to the ground. All 4 animals were never hunted with terriers because they get KILLED AND DIE!!! Man destroyed the breed by taking its natural ability to live. #1 fighting dog and that is all. A useless breed unless for companionship.

@cat5fan I didnt address the matter because fighting bears, bulls and lions is all in the past. But still a recognized part of the apbts histroy. I have owned this noble breed my whole life so who are you trying to fool. Keep on talkin while me and my dog keep on performing, your a joke I wish we could meet.
