Dear Joe, September 4th, 2011
I told you I'd write! And to think you didn't believe me... Anyway, I finished my first week of classes today. They were interesting, but there's no class clown! In any of them, not a single one! I have no one to have spitball fights with! Remember our wand battles in Chemistry? The ones we had underneath the desks with the stir sticks? Yep, none of that in college, it's terrible. I tried once, with this boy Josh Landguard. Yeah, that didn't blow over too well. See, Josh's got one of those dirty minds so he thought, he didn't get that I was casting spells with my stir stick. He thought it was a different kind of wand entirely. It's was embarrassing. There's more to that story I figure it's just going to gross you out if I continue it. Anyway, my professors are okay. Mr. Jacobs, my English teacher, is really into Lord of the Rings so he keeps calling me a hobbit, and asking me what life in the Shire's like. Man, I hate being short. Why'd I have to get cursed with my mom's 5'2" height? Well, I figure that's enough of my complaining to last you for at least a week. I miss you Joey! I can't wait to see you on Christmas break!

P.S: Give Nick a good hard kick in the shins for me. I didn't get the chance to when he beat me at Halo and wouldn't stop bragging until I left. Come to think of it, he's still taunting me, he Facebooked me an hour ago to remind me of how badly he "slayed me!"

You and Josh need to have a Harry Potter marathon. Maybe then he'll have a different image of wands. Anyway, I'm sorry there's no me on campus. I didn't know my quirkiness had that big of an impact on you, but you sure had an impact on me. Gosh, I miss you kid. You need to get your butt back to Cali! My brothers are so boring, I need my best friend back then we can have more wand battles! Well you were right by the way, every time I think about your letter I burst out laughing and people keep giving me weird looks. Oh well, it's not like they didn't do that already. See you at Christmas Lib! Have fun at Brown until then!

I feel like being proper today so this letter is going to be very grammatical and superior. Well, the rest of the letter at least. I broke my arm two weeks ago and I they told me not to do any writing for awhile and it's been awhile today! So to commemorate it, I'm writing you a letter. I had the marathon with Josh and he loves Harry Potter now but he still has the same images of wands. So, when I ask him about wand battles he starts giggling. He's like an over-grown middle-schooler! I miss you too Joey! You did make an enormous impact on me! I will never be able to watch a soap opera with a straight face again! Oh, I just remembered that I might be able to come home early, like Thanksgiving early! But it's not definite yet so cross your fingers and pray that I'll get to leave early. Love you Joey, and thanks for the hobbit statue! One bad thing about it though: it's taller than me!
