Motor sports TV commentator Murray Walker gets a passenger lap of Bathurst during practice for the 1997 Bathurst 1000km, with Brad Jones in the BJR Orix Audi. Try to look for the terror on Murray's face as they begin the plunge back down the mountain with Murray shouting "this is unbelieveable!!!!" into the onboard microphone.

@trevorwinton mate get your facts right...if you read my reply to your shitbox post you will realise i was talking about SUPER TOURING!! As in from the 90's !Not todays touring cars..these are crap....driven by amatures.

Dont get me wrong, i admire the v8's it seems a very proffesional set up,but they are not the be all and end all. the DTM cars are the fastest in the world.

Supertouring was amazing racing as said.

@andygs2 the v8s run limited gearing, they could easily go much faster with 650rwhp... as for the super tourers, i was watching some btcc on tv today and its a fucking joke. some guy spun out and went into a crop in a paddock, wtf? besides the chev cruz is a rebadged aussie holden, the only true car out there are the bmws and hondas... the cars are crap, theyre slow and were removed from from bathurst due to the aussie audience being bored to death. v8 supercars, best touring car series period..

I'va gotta hand it to Murry. I would have honestly been too speechless to do the job that he did. I would have loved it, but still not able to give an acurate commentary. He is a proffessional & a true enthusiast of all motor sport.

@kennymiesta "SHITBOX?" super touring racing was/is far better than aussie v8's. V8 completely overated. these super tourer shitboxes are only 2 litres yet 170 mph down conrod straight, yet v8's are not exactly much faster down there.

Ford/Holden...2 manufactures only...boring. Super touring has at least a dozen. I think that to extract 315bhp from a 2 litre na engine is fantastic
