There it was. Another heart. Broken. Backstage of the arena. He didn't even look back. She watched him with blurred eyes enter the tour bus and close the door behind him.
The relationship that lasted approximately three months just fell apart. Out of nowhere. Her heart was in her stomach, and she didn't understand why. Tears streaming down her cheeks and she finally realized why. It was because of -her-.
Her. The girl he'd stare at on award show nights. It all came together. She was sure she'd see -her- in magazines with -him- in a week.
How heartless, cold, and selfish. This was the time for the best friend. TSwift.
Considering that she went through the same exact thing. Same situation. Same tears. And, well. Same person.
She fell for him, just like Taylor did. Apparently he didn't fall back. With either of them. They both went on tour with him. They both had a secret romance with him. And this may seem like it was breaking the girl code, but Taylor convinced her. She convinced her that the reason he left her was so they could be together. So she tried it out. Big mistake. Big. Big. Big mistake.
She got in the car and started the engine. She constantly wiped her eyes to prevent the tears from invading her driving.
She opened the wood door to Taylor's house.
"Taylor." she said as she turned the corner into the kitchen.
"Woah what's wrong?" she put down the cake batter and licked her fingers as she walked towards her.
"We're done" she looked down as tears filled her eyes.
"What?" Taylor was confused.
"Same thing. Same thing that he did to you... just happened to me" she started to bawl into Taylor's shoulder.
"We're writing." Taylor took her hand and went up the stairs into her room.
"What?"
"We're writing about it. You helped me now I'm helping you. We're writing" she grabbed her guitar, capo, and pick and sat on her floor.
She took a deep breath and sighed.
This was now the life of Mandy King.
