Liberty Dollar makes local currency push in New Hampshire

I love silver currency....but the liberty dollar is a joke. There is no reason to pay for such a mark up. Especially when you can buy american eagles for a lot less, and with eagles you don't have lagitamacy, and legal issues. Even plain silver rounds are a better deal. I think pushing the liberty dollar is going to turn people away from silver, when they find out how much they cost. Remember it's the intrinsic value that matters. There is no sence in over paying. An ounce is an ounce.

I'm a silver and gold advocate, but I never got into the Liberty Dollar because of their MLM-style organization, the high markup, and the use of dollar denominations (and the re-denominating that took place).
BUT... what the feds did was outright theft.

Acting retarded and pantomiming hitting yourself in the head with a board sucks as a strategy. It reduces the effectiveness of your message, by making you look "silly". OTN has a better approach, but your soundbite videos are more topical and "fast-turnaround" than theirs, so I tend to watch you. You are 90% good. Just eliminate the silliness.

Jct: With Ithaca Hours working fine, why restrict your currency to gold or silver rock? How silly to use a rare metal for your poker chips. It's not the gold that make the chips valuable, it's what you can get for it. These metal token groups are incurring the wrath of government that other community currencies do not. Why?

this guy looks like someone from the civil war lol, rock on liberty dude!

i love the commodity currency idea but its hard for a business to accept this because it cant pay overhead with it. I guess if you have a quick and efficient way for business to convert the liberty money into dollars it could work but that system would have to be really efficient to gain the confidence of small business owners.

Interest free money is not at all stupid. Search colonial script, Greenbacks, or Guernsey Island experiment... See for yourself the success of commodity supported currencys...

America DID have a gold standard, although it was not a 100% gold standard (because of fractional reserve banking, and idiotic presidents like Lincoln who relied on inflation to pay for unjust wars) until 1933. People weren't using gold coins, but the money was backed in gold - hence a gold standard.
I like your idea of pulling our money out of our banks, though! If we could organize a Nation Wide Bank Run, i think it would show everyone just how idiotic our financial system is.

you are right we cant police the world on the silver standard and we cant have a buying economy . but we need to STOP policeing the world and we need to STOP selling our jobs out to india and china pyramid scam economys fail allways ever paly the pyramid scam game? if you dont why not? come on dont you want to make a lot of money lol lol look only the one who start the scam win they loot the money and you hold the bag. like our real fiat econo. btw ever wonder who owns fiat the car builderberg

Alright man look. I'm a big fan of your videos but a representative currency is just stupid. A fiat money like we have now is necessary to have a large industrial economy. A representative currency is just a way for a government to transfer from a commodity money to a fiat currency. The gold standerd never relay existed we only had a small gold reserve. If people actually wanted to pull their money out the reserve would have dried up before the vast majority could get to the bank.

They are already doing it without most knowing, look it up my friend! Peace

Great question daliOtter. I don't think they can, nor do I think they want to, unless of course, there's a new World [order] President that they have in mind -- someone say like World President Ahnold Schwarzenegger. "Your coins will be flabby without my picture on them." Non-flabby coins then would be legal tender, right? :D
The LD has some problems but also does/did some great things no one else will. big Copper bullion coins, worlds only silver-backed paper certificate (which is now worth more than the silver that once backed it). electronic silver, couple other things i forget. oh some of the coins attained high numismatic value on ebay.
Also it was they who turned me onto metals in the first place....
