How to transfer iPad Pages Doc to your Computer. (Microsoft word only)

This is a video tutorial for those who are new to the iPad in helping transfer their Pages docs from iPad to Microsoft Word. If you are a veteran then just ignore this video. You can watch the video or just read the instructions below. If you have any questions, leave a comment! Thanks for watching and Peace!

Ipad to microsoft word (window xp)
1. Open Pages app and select file you want to transfer in My Documentation screen.
2. Click the box with arrow pointing right on bottom of screen
3. Select Export, then select .Doc Word
4. Go to iTunes and select iPad under Device (left side of screen)
5. Select APP tab (it will be on top part of ipad screen)
6. Select Pages app (you might have to scroll down to see it)
7. Select and highlight (click once) your Doc to transfer under Pages Documents (its on the right side of Pages App.
8. Select "save to" option (you might need to scroll down, it will be next to add button)
9. Select desktop option (save to your desktop screen to find it easy)
10. Minimize iTunes, and go to your desktop screen and look for your doc and select it. It will then open it automatically in microsoft word. Now its ready for you to edit it.

  • Hi, I was just wondering, once I have put a pages document onto my computer, would it be possible to put the word document back into my iPad and into my Pages again? Thankyou I would really appreciate the help :)

  • @coldplaymaniac1 Hi, thanks for the great question. Yes you can transfer your docs back to pages again. Just plug ipad to computer. Go to iTunes, search for the apps tab, scroll down till you see sharing apps. Click on add file, then select your doc to transfer. Then click sync and you should be able to find your doc on ipad. If this is confusing, head to my channel as I made a video concerning your question. Hope this helps. Thanks.
