it's a really nice movie and i don't understand why there has been much fuss around it!! and if your wondering about the ending.. the way i see it is that the girl tried to cross the mines field and died in an explosion but her soul spoked to the soldier and he left his check point.. he maybe killed himself or maybe is just gone because he lost his beloved girl due to the mines set by the army he serves therefore he lost interest in being involved with it any longer.. what a beautiful ending
