@ranisha29 That is the same way that we feel too. My husband and I believe that what makes a house into a home... is the housewife that brings it together and forms the home base for him to come home to. Neither he nor I want to be the sort of couple that sees each other in passing on our way out the door for our separate lives. When we have children we are really looking forward to raising them to know the value of family over that of material possessions.
@Shokara2 was reading ur comment abt men in the US wanting only females with high paying jobs and fancy looks......ironically thats what men in India too want nowadays...esp the so called educated.....dont worry India is fast running towards this sort of culture and attitude, and its a pity! i believe one needs to be the bread winner and one the homemaker....it is completely not possible for the female to be a super woman.the only thing that ends up occuring is, loosing ur health when ur old
@Shokara2 LOL. Yeah that's ironic and funny. And I agree to you. Before committing to someone one needs to accept the other as they are or not commit at all.
@RichieRichR well no one is perfect. I didnt expect my husband to be and thankfully he doesnt expect me to be. I just wanted a man who would respect me and love me as I am... for good or for bad. My husband thankfully loves me as much as I love him. We knew it the first time we met... amazing that we got that from an Indian matrimonial website.... We really crack up at this song btw... cause ummm.. Im the white girl. HAHAHA
@Shokara2 True that! I have had experience with an American woman. (a white girl like you :) )
We were together for a year or so and we both were serious. But then I found out a couple of things about her and her past and I realized I didn't want to be with someone like her. From then on I have been very careful.
@RichieRichR I looked for a good husband for more than 12 years. I wasnt able to find a good husband here. The problem is the culture in america isnt geared to marriage, family and comitment and those are three very big things to me. I wanted a husband that wanted just a simple housewife. I am not a fancy person by any means. And here in the US thats just not what men seem to want! they want fancy women who work high paying jobs. Shaadi was recomended by a friend and it worked quickly and WELL.
I like and I want to marry with a sincere and trust worthy women/lady who help and support me and who love me as I love her.
