The Vision System consisting of 3 Machine Vision Cameras and special purpose optics and strobe lights is designed to inspect automotive bearing components on the fly at the rate of 2 sec/component. Defects such as dent marks, rust, CSK missing, operation missing, deep turning lines, flower marks found anywhere on the two faces, Outer Dia and Inner Bore are rejected.
A flipping system is designed to flip and reverse the component for hidden side inspection.
The rejected components are removed automatically by pneumatics attached at the end of line.
The machine is designed to run 24/7 and has an output of 40,000 component inspections per day.
