This is Dan Reed Network's performance of "Get To You" from their 1988 televised US appearance on The Late Show. I captured this video from my own VHS-recorded copy of the broadcast from back in the day. :)

  • I saw them in Bloomington Illinois in about 1998. They were absolutely unbelievable. Dan can PLAY that guitar brother. They were all amazing!

  • @Tonydee640, The band broke up in the early 90's, though. Did you mean to say '88? Lucky guy! I never got to see them live. I know that they'd played in Chicago, but I never knew they played in Bloomington.

  • I used to love this band....one writer described them as "Bon Jovi with Prince as lead singer". Anyone have a video of them performing "Slam" or "Forgot to Make Her Mine"?

  • Dont git better than this band....

  • Forgot to make her Mine was my FAVE! I saw them live every weekend in Portland during 1985 or 86

  • Forgot to make her Mine was my FAVE!

  • saw this band at nottingham rock city in 1990. apart form the stranglers i can honestly say i have never been so impressed by musicianship. these guys are masters.

  • @heylad Right, 1988. One of the radio stations in Bloomington was giving "get to you" a lot of air time. They played I believe on the ISU campus. I remember at one time during the concert the keyboards dropped out for a second or two, and let me tell you, their music sounded pretty empty without them. I remember the drummer being absolutely fantastic. Also, Dan Reed was a much better guitar player than the guy how was their lead guitarist.
