  • hey...hey guys!! I'm gonna go say hi to MaynOHSHIT

  • From an inteview:

AVC: There's a Tool concert clip floating around on YouTube where you appear to choke a fan who runs onstage to embrace you. Was that for real?

MJK: Yeah, that was a gig where some dickhead got onstage—and it had already been one of those nights where, you know, a lot of things went wrong, and people were testing my patience, and then some kid got on my stage. Sorry!

  • I like how Keenan didn't let the fact that he had someone in a chokehold slow him down from singing the song

  • @beticanproveyouwrong your english isnt making any since, but i do know Maynard trains under Rickson and was a purple belt at the time or so.

  • No one messes with Maynard; even Chuck Norris knows better than to stage rush him. This video is made even more awesome by the fact that Maynard is still singing while he's restraining the man, and he does not miss a single note.

  • It's perfectly legal... it's called a collar elbow hip toss, youtube it.., which is a wrestling move stolen from GJJ. Wrestling has been around since ancient roman times, GJJ isn't even a century old, and GJJ is a redesigned form of japanese JJ, the original JJ that samurai's used. Maynard and you can say you learned it from GJJ, but it's from originally from GJJ.

  • @beticanproveyouwrong Dude, you're fucking ridiculous.

Not only is this NOT a wrestling move, but it would be ILLEGAL.

    GTFO with that garbage.

And if they taught it in wrestling, then the NCAA wrestlers that were in the original UFC's wouldn't have been DOMINATED by techniques like this.

Like I said above, he HIMSELF said it was GJJ.

The world doesn't revolve around you and your experiences.

  • @TheCyndicate Bro what ever, I did wrestling in FL too, in fact. Olympic heights highschool in boca raton fl. sent 4 to states that year and our 103 placed 6th. the following year our 215 got 2nd. I knew how to do that shit before i went to top team.

  • @darkveng Like I said above, He HIMSELF said it was BJJ in an interview.

And also like I said above, I wrestled in high school as well. While they teach takedowns and throws, they do NOT teach an Uchi Mata style throw.

That's like saying Karate and Boxing are the same, because they both use punches.

  • @beticanproveyouwrong Uh no, it's not. He has been interviewed DIRECTLY about this incident and he says that it is Jiu-Jitsu HIMSELF!!

I took wrestling in high school too, in a VERY active, hard to wrestle in state(FL).

NONE of this is taught in wrestling.

This is just another example of envious wrestlers trying to take credit for something that had nothing to do with wrestling‼

  • @TheCyndicate The throw he does is an uchi mata, but is also commonly referred to in wrestling as a head throw. Maynard wrestled when he was young, he spent time in the military, and he trains in BJJ. Doesn't matter which art you want to attribute it to, truth is truth.

  • That dude is so lucky, I'd love to get hugged, slammed, choked and sat on by Maynard James Keenan.
