-
@DrmrGuy1979 yeah he does, i think ill give it try some where that an open class, VK, maybe impulse. but thanks.
-
@DrmrGuy1979 i want to, but he says not to, he was a blue devil 92-94 so everything has to be spot on and perfect, the time he kindof said yes, he looked at me and just smirked, so im gonna go for it this fall just to see.
-
@tjw889 ah i see what you mean.
-
@thsma2009 I think that it has alot more to do with the height of the drum relative to the body...
-
@drumlineblog oh, no im just saying generally when his sticks are out, his left hand, its high, like he;s is kindof poking at the drum with his left, insted of it being a 15 degree angle like it should be, or at least thats what i was taoughtm its more like 30ish degree, at certain times, but i did notice centers tend to over play
-
@thsma2009 Are you talking about the taps or the accents (or both)? Some center snares tend to overplay - not saying it's right or wrong, but guys on the outside? Big no-no.
-
center has a high left, and my HS snare tech says my high left is whats keeping me from a good corps.
-
@johnpaddie Are you saying that because there was none?

Phantom Regiment is the king of 8th note rolls.
... and triplet rolls....
... and hertas...
... and beats (well... most of the time)
