  • @Jupppeee yeah they did borrow the chord progression for cheyenne and used it for thechorus for Dont Cry...you're right about it...I like how GNR used it though, Dont cry is a great song and the chords they borrowed fit the song perfectly

  • @NotoriousYeshi yeah thats true, everyone got influence by some else,i've heard thousands of same kind of "riffs but all artist's just change their personality.i mean personality of the riffs...but hey u should listen hanoi rocks song called cheyenne, and what u think a bout gnr's dont cry after that????

  • @number1kissfan your saying they stole alot from hanoi rocks but u just mentioned two songs they bit off hanoi..its all rock n roll, all bands borrow from their influences, if not go listen to Led Zeppelin 1, and 2..they borrowed lyrics and riffs from old blues artists..so at the end of the day,no band is as original as one might think..Guns N Roses took off from where hanoi unfortunately left off after Razzle died

  • Brilliant Monroe is a god!!

  • The most influential band of it's time, they started glam/hair metal. I love the Crue and Cinderella but they owe their look and some sound to HRs. Not to mention the serious biters like poison.

  • @ZRANCIS

This doesn't suck, this is the kind of stuff that inspired izzy stradlin when he was in hollywood rose and shit. Hanoi is the fucking original kick ass rock n roll.. You have to at least rrspect the roots for being kick ass in the first place.

Don't mean to offend, I just don't think you should be talking down on this

  • @DJrizzle57 @ZRANCIS Right for all you people saying you don't hear the riff, it's hard unless you play guitar. But basically, the chord progression is exactly the same timings and everything, just sped up in paradise city. Guns stole a lot of their ideas from Hanoi Rocks, eg. listen to "Hanoi rocks - Cheyenne" The intro to that was turned into the chorus for Don't Cry. As much as I like Guns in my opinion Hanoi Rocks are much better than them, everyone just jumped on the Guns bandwagon.

  • @DJrizzle57 same
