i was lucky enough to drive a 996 turbo,they are soooooooo fast,the way it brakes,accelerates and grips is amazing,a true spercar expierence,i hated getting back in my 205gti afterwards ha

I lost my licence in the cabriolet version of this the other day. It keeps making you go faster and faster. Ridiculously evil, really.

@4raise That's interesting since Top Gear tested the M6 (505hp; LIGHTER than M5) and it got SMOKED by a 385 hp Carrera 2S on the Isle of Man TT Course. I am sure If I were driving MY 996 Turbo Cab (X50, 450hp) and Sabine Schmitz were driving an M5, She'd crush me. Her driving both, giving some standardization to the competition? No way in hell the M5 wins. Simple physics: lbs/bhp, friction (contact patch), Center of Gravity, and downforce ALL favor the Turbo. You probably say "porsch" too..

What ever the argument is ... what ever magazines would try to tell you... there is NO GTR that will ever, EVER, gives you the outstanding and exciting experience of a 911 Turbo..ever!
