playing pacman game on TV with atmel AT-TINY2313 and MEGA48

This system is using mega48 & 2 tiny2313s.

Mega48,whitch is the main cpu, controls coordinates of pac-man and monsters. This chip controls input buttons, too.

One tiny2313 displays the sprite charactors on NTSC signal.

Another tiny2313 displays background charactors on NTSC signal.

  • ah! thank you!

i think that was bug report. and i already knew the bug.

    B.T.W

i 'm now trying to display color stuff on NTSC. please expect for my work!

  • nah, i meant it as a compliment! :D

  • so mega48 has a few memories that i cannot implement more logic.

mega88 or mega168 may have enough memories. i recommend using mega88 or mega168.

  • lol. pacman drifting! xD

  • I tried to write a information of site which is useful for me, but youtube system rejects the comment.

perhaps, prohibited symbol is in it. url and so on.

  • One TINY2313 outputs video signal on PB0 and sync signal on PD6,which is sprite.

Another TINY2313 outputs video signal on PB0,which is background.

And inputs H and V sync from INT0,INT1 to synchronize with sprite picture.

Simply,2 video signals are mixed with OR logic.

    Mega48 outputs no video signal.

It outputs X and Y axis for sprite characters on UART.

2 TINY2313s input the axis data and make video signal.
