I lived there for a year and taught English... They all dream of going to schools such as Harvard. By no means is school in Korea easy. My students were always miserable and tired from studying all day and night. However after highschool its a party. University is a fraction of the work and the competition that they experienced in highschool is not there. Instead of hitting the library they hit the Soju

Is there any way to see a translated version of a past test? After finding out that it is impossible to receive a failing grade in high school, I'm not so sure about the academic rigor in Korea any more... In any case I'm curious to see what kinds of questions are asked and what material is covered.
