Fantasy - Earth, Wind & Fire (1978)

"Fantasy" is a single by Earth, Wind & Fire from their album "All 'N All", released as a single in 1978. The song was written by Maurice White, Verdine White and Eddie del Barrio and it reached #32 and #12 on the pop and R&B singles charts in the United States. The single also received a Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Song. "Fantasy" took a period of three months to be written and was finally finished after Maurice White saw the film, "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind" and gained inspiration from the film. This channel is dedicated to all the great 'old school' R&B music I grew up with, the stuff that originally made me tap my feet and want to be a DJ. Funk, soul, disco, R&B, dance, hip-hop, pop . . . 60s, 70s, 80s . . . whatever you call it, it's all 'Old School' and it's all here!

this song tells me 2 things. 1. we were truly blessed to be born in a era to appreciate the music. 2. music today is just terrible (all music)...so thank God for U-Tube it truly is a wonderful tool for reminiscing and showing my kids what real music is...
