@XXYSexChromosomes So would it be correct to say that "male" by your definition is defined by the sex chromosomes, not the brain or the physical development? I guess if I had to choose I would say that the brain should define the sex because there can be XY females (female in brain and outward appearance). The XXYs I know look and act very male, though. Can one be male and intersex? Is intersex more accurate tan male for XXY? Thanks. :)

@charlespippins76 But Adele's story is most unusual for XXY babies who have no genital ambiguity at all, as one group says, "they are unambiguously male."

@runr100 Yes all Klinefelter's people are male. They might not always remain male by their I suppose choice. Apart from Adele there are only 2 other persons I know about who claim Klinefelter's syndrome as their reason to transition. And Adele was born male, and XXY is not 80% female 20% male at all, as the additional X is inactivated and has no function in the terms of sex determination. I think Adele's a wee bit confused as to her reasoning, but she's made her choice.

She was georgeous as a male.

I thought I recalled a friend with an XXY son saying that all Klinefelter's people are male. Do you think intersex and hermaphrodite are interchangeable terms? I worry that the term hermaphrodite is offensive.

@badcatmcconell1324 Have you seen 2000 live and in person genitals? The probability goes down that a XXY person would show you since most feel like something is wrong with them. The probability is even further diminished that you would see them bc surgeries are being performed to assign gender at a young age.

There is no way one in every 2000 people are born with ambigous genitals. That means every 2000 people you see will be like this person and i have never seen a croos betweeen male and female.
