If you want to kill a scuba diver, should you cut the high pressure hose, or the regulator hose?

You don't want a scuba accident to go wrong - this video will show you the best hose to cut!

  • Try that at 100ft or more!!!!! Also, I agree with everyone throat+knife??? I wish my CD would let us play like that. You all have entirely way to much time on your hands lol. At least you did it in a pool!

  • Actually at 100 feet, it is virtually no different in time... Less than 5 second difference.

  • Nice video and a nice shop.

Unfortunately you dont ship in Europe some

    scubatoy stuff.

  • We ship to Europe every day... and throughout the world.

  • Didn't the tank freeze? Did the bang from the HP hose hurt your ears?

  • No, the tank didn't freeze - you will get some chilling of the first stage - and if in cold water, that could freeze the reg - but we were in an 85 degree pool. And yea... when we cut that hose - it was pretty darn loud - actually scared the heck out of us! But not real ear pain... but it was loud!

  • lol u should have just shut the valve off

  • 2 minutes at the bottom of a pool. Think how little time for reaction u would have at 30 meters...makes you think doesnt it?

  • is there a procedure to act in this scenario???? not if your buddy cuts your line in a pool lol.... say im 90' and in a cave, meaning i need to make my way out slowly and smoothly.... kink the hose a possibility ?? what about the regulator hose ??? yes i have a pony.... just wandering if its possible to fix for the moment.... i cant afford to chop up gear lol wish i could but cant..... thanks

  • Can't stop laughin'! Great job guys!

  • I wish i had the money to destroy two hoses for the purposes of a video! xD

Great video though guys. It was pretty damn funny =D

  • For some of us, it was always, "Good morning Mr. Briggs."

  • haha great! :D

  • That is some funny stuff!!! I was a Clearance Diver with the Canadian Navy, and have blown a few hp disks, and a few hoses. Gets loud, but never really had an issue. Hope your underwater staff had fun making that. Stay safe. Cheers, B.

  • That's still enough time to make a safe ascent... even from 30m/100ft, though no safety stop of course.

  • thats so werid i just got certified there!
