lol u should have just shut the valve off

2 minutes at the bottom of a pool. Think how little time for reaction u would have at 30 meters...makes you think doesnt it?

I wish i had the money to destroy two hoses for the purposes of a video! xD
Great video though guys. It was pretty damn funny =D

For some of us, it was always, "Good morning Mr. Briggs."

haha great! :D

That is some funny stuff!!! I was a Clearance Diver with the Canadian Navy, and have blown a few hp disks, and a few hoses. Gets loud, but never really had an issue. Hope your underwater staff had fun making that. Stay safe. Cheers, B.

That's still enough time to make a safe ascent... even from 30m/100ft, though no safety stop of course.

thats so werid i just got certified there!

Try that at 100ft or more!!!!! Also, I agree with everyone throat+knife??? I wish my CD would let us play like that. You all have entirely way to much time on your hands lol. At least you did it in a pool!

Actually at 100 feet, it is virtually no different in time... Less than 5 second difference.

Didn't the tank freeze? Did the bang from the HP hose hurt your ears?

No, the tank didn't freeze - you will get some chilling of the first stage - and if in cold water, that could freeze the reg - but we were in an 85 degree pool. And yea... when we cut that hose - it was pretty darn loud - actually scared the heck out of us! But not real ear pain... but it was loud!
