This is a small program I made.

Inspired by the guy who made the still alive song on the 8080 computer.
The song used is the song from the 8080 version of Still alive. If you haven't seen the 8080 version look it up it's real good.

It took two days to make and i'm very proud of it.
The timing isn't perfect and there is a spelling mistake. (see if you can find it!)
but other then that it works great.

Here is the download link.
http://gaddc11.googlepages.com/stillaliveextra.rar

Hope you enjoy

P.S Make sure you take a look at the video response from EMAXV2. It's got a piano version of the song thats really good.

EDIT: Good news. I finally found that USB drive that has the source code. So here is the source code:
https://sites.google.com/site/gaddc11/Stillalive.rar?attredirects=0&d=1
And also here:

It's a project I made in bloodshed dev c++ so I don't know if it will work with other compilers so feel free to tell me if it isn't working in a different compiler. Enjoy.

  • it would've been easier to make a function that printed char arrays to the console with a pause between all characters. like void print(char * cad,int nelem) { for(int i = 0,i < nelem,i++) { cout<<cad[i]; sleep(50); } cout<<"\n" } either way,good job.
  • @mindlesselectron Thank you, and thanks for the suggestion. I might use that in my version of want you gone.

  • now make want you gone

  • @william22044 I'm already working on it. It's a lot more complex this time though so it's taking me a lot longer to finish.

  • I found another spell mistake, 1:31 "burne". Last time I checked "burned" was spelled "b-u-r-n-e-d."

  • @66kcmiller Yup that's it! Someone finally got it right! I thought that everyone would be like "There is no d at the end of burned!" but surprisingly enough you're the first one to figure it out. That is the only spelling mistake in the entire program, or atleast it's the only one that I've found. I copied the lyrics off a website to make sure everything was spelt correctly. But when I was programming each character in I accident deleted that d and didn't notice till after I lost the source code.
