In this video i give you some tips of how to conduct yourself during a photo shoot in a bar/nightclub. This shoot was for the promotion of a new Gin being produced in Scotland called Caorunn.

  • How do you decide who gets the royalties to the images for this scenario? Also, do you use flash in the bar scene?

  • Hi dom this is a very great tip/ video. May i know though if you used any speedlight in your shots inside the club? I really liked the effect of the ambient light in the pub but i never get it in my shots. They are either too bright ( if with flash) or too dark ( if without) . Thanks dom!!!

  • in a place like this bar no, never used flash. got another shoot with them this tuesday in a brighter bar, will bring flash but doubt ill use it. just use high iso and fast lenses ie f1.4
