I remember reading in an Estonian newspaper after his death that Lepo Sumera lived in an apartment which had belonged to someone who fled Estonia during the 2nd World War and who came back in the late 1990s to reclaim it. Lepo didn't know what to do, was worried he'd be thrown out of the apartment (which had simply been allotted to him during the Soviet occupation of Estonia) and had a heart attack. A very sad story.
