  • Actually the Japanese warrior code of honor, loyalty, and self sacrifice still lives on. Best recent example is the behavior of the Japanese people after the tsunami

  • I trained in kendo, judo and iaido.and I'm not Japanese,I'm learned the way of the sword for almost 8 years...for me I respect Japanese for they code of life and their discipline..they are amazing people

even I'm not Japanese but in my heart I want to live as Samurai, maybe it's sound old school and old fashioned but I feel better live in this way.Much better than my past,it changed me alot from hot-tempered,lazy person and selfish human..Bushido totally change my life..is not about war,it's heart

  • Great documentary of the Samurai! I'm satisfied. Great story. Thank you. I have pros and cons but I'll keep them with me.

  • @NazrulSyah More like belly. ;)

  • @NazrulSyah you have totaly right

  • They are not samurai but soldiers.

  • @98kemik Rubbish. Japan was already defeated when the Americans dropped the bomb. They were ready to invade Japan herself. The Americans and her allies had already taken back all the land Japan had conquered. Yamamoto himself said before Pearl Harbour that all Japan was doing was waking a sleeping giant in America. And he was right.

  • @wwwggxcom They went from kick ass documentaries like these to shows about fucking loggers and truckers.

  • @ThePlaidFace Wait... what happened to the History channel ??

  • Fuck what happened to the history channel!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Jester0879 While most Japanese people acted incredibly honorably and selfless during their moment of crisis, I think it would be a bit silly to attribute that to the Bushido code. I think its a general positive human reaction to crisis, that we should encourage regardless of culture or nationality.

  • STGs (videogames) are more like the samurai spirit in many ways - precise, bullet-hell often, single-minded, and lots of them very exclusive and difficult to import. and suiciding your ship is also often an integral part of gameplay.

*will be prosecuted to the full extent of the jam*
