  • Couldn't really see a pic of Pete!!! WHY??? If at all, just a small one in the first mixture of all of them... Just sad....!!

  • It certainly wasn't intentional, merely Googled Runrig pictures and those were the ones that I happened to choose.

    Apologies.

  • I quite agree, without Pete Wishart, I doubt Runrig would be the band it still is today.

Thanks for the comments and any other videos I make will sure to have Pete in it.

  • @pmarsh1986 Ah do like Pete, nice man!

I actually think Calum's the guy who's (minus his genius song writing with Rory), is like a small guit musically on stage in the mist's of the rest of them.

But really do think he and Rory's songwritings amazing! One of my favourite lyrics from him's the passage he wrote during a Gaelic lesson he had when at school, the bit between Bruce singing, Calum just says the poem in the middle of it, to perfection!

Just one of my favourite moments of them live.

  • @usrunrigfan Ciámar u tha sibh? or Ciámar u tha thu? Dependant upon who your greeting.

Portree is actually Port Righ in Gaelic you know?

    Moran tang.

  • @SonOfLabrador

Put jim willsher runrig lyrics into google and the site will come up. I'll look around for the Gaelic for you, still, though.

  • @SonOfLabrador The site I use to find Runrig lyrics only has the spoken word in Oran written in English. I'll in the meantime look on the CD insert and see if it is in there in the Gaelic.

I tried to post the link to the site but youtube would not let me.

  • @usrunrigfan Thanks a lot for the translation - but i also looked for this lyrics part in Gaelic, it isn't included in song lyrics anywhere. I still don't know Gaelic that much so i can simply write down the lyrics :) So if you maybe know where this part in Gaelic can be found, would be great!

  • @SonOfLabrador

Looking out the window of morning

From the evening to the door of night

    I asked the question

And the answer was in the water of dawn

    [of the lake?]

    It was the earth

  • Does anyone know how the spoken passage of the song goes in Gaelic?

    This is a brilliant song!!

  • I hope to see a concert in the future it"s my dream

  • @Carinne12 Did you ever get your concert ?

  • @sannaLight Níl fhios agam sin, ach is maith sin a bheith agam anois - I didn't know that, but it's good that I know now.
