Yellow cab driver catches the longest ride of his career. A wealthy tweaker 30-something from Australia tries to kick meth by absenting self from "bad company" and throwing himself out into the hinterland. Four day trip, filled with cabbie psychoanalytic platitudes and bromides, to NYC from SF Airport, all the way riding down I-80 from the Bay Bridge in Frisco to the George Washington Bridge coming into Manhattan. Here's the speeded up version for folks who want everything....and want it RITE NOW! The fare, by the way, including time and gas for return trip plus tip was $6450. Cabbie sleeps in back seat of Crown Vic at I-80 rest stops on return trip to prevent erosion of profit from longest ride by far of his dubious Yellow Cab driving career. Cabbie wonders if tweaker, who he has just dropped off in the East Village (drug captital of NYC), is still clean. "Doubtful if not preposterous".... cabbie thinks to self as he heads back out of NYC into the Jersey flatlands headin ASAP back San Francisco, CA.
The one thing that I can see in the NYC background on this video is the World Trade Center Twin Towers.

Amazing drive and recording of the ENTIRE I-80. From San Fran To NYC, there were some interesting spots in between. The freeway at the 9:40 mark pretty much looked like I-75 in the suburbs of Cincinnati. Great job out there!

I´m Edward from Brazil.
It´s a very nice video.
I´ve done a roundtrip from SF to NYC too.
My goal is to drive from Curitiba-Brazil to Salt Lake City-USA.
I know I can drive from south to north america. Only on the
Panama/Colombia´s border I need to get on a ferry boat to cross
the Darien Gap in central america.
It´s a long drive, but I´d be excited to do it.
