  • Hello,

Are you a part of an organization in #pitt ?

    Saludos de San Antonio, TX!

  • @satchimon I'm a part of Pitt's Student Government Board and this is a project that was initiated by my fellow Board Member Emily Hoover. Thanks for your support all the way from San Antonio!

  • @seth7garcia You know, nobody likes a troll. Replying to every single comment that's made is completely unnecessary. You're one of the many who disagree with what we are saying, but I don't see them trolling on a YouTube video. Keep your attitude to yourself.

  • Great idea students! Quick question though... how many people holding these signs actually voted in this last election?

  • TAX THE FUCKING RICH!

Goddamn I'm considered rich by the state and I'd be more than glad to pay more taxes. The United States flourished in the 50's and 60's when the rich were taxed 90%. That's a little excessive but it's a big change from 90-30%

  • as an alumni... i support this video.

  • this song is perfect for this video! - what song is it?

  • Buckyboy: PA sits on the Marcellus Shale, making it the US's Saudi Arabia. Our GOP Gov. received $900,000 of campaign $ from Big Mining & in return made Pennsylvania the only state in the country which does not impose an extraction tax on the Drillers. Bush's Texas and Palin's Alaska have extraction taxes. He's giving PA's natural resources to Texas/Oklahoma based drillers. He's also gutted the environmental regulations & stopped inspectors from issuing violations. Cost PA 100s of millions.

  • @Planeswalker13 First of all, I'm not 12. Please don't call me honey. Second, I do respect other people's opinions, but when one person takes it upon themselves to comment on nearly every anti-Corbett statement in the comment section - along with making their own statements multiple times - that is called spam. Spamming a video comment section is unnecessary. You disagree? That's fine. Just say it once.

  • It's ok. You probably work for a conservative organization to go around posting comments like this. How's the astro-turfing job going? Yeah, I've seen the craigslist ads. :p

  • @seth7garcia Yes, because I said abololish private property and private ownership(? Oh, I didn't. That makes your point on communism moot(not that I expect you to know anything about it, I highly doubt you read the communist manifesto or did any research on it) , and... last time I checked we borrow a lot of from china because they are growing economically at such a high rate. So, bringing up China would be an argument for communism, not against it.

  • Why not actually raise some more money? Why don't we put a luxury tax on Natural Gas drilling, like every other state does? The gas companies already expect it. Why not put a tax on Cigars and chewing tobacco? We're the only state that doesn't tax these items. The answer isn't in cutting programs that support growth in favor of welfare, but in raising more funds for the government who provides these services.
