Just check out NewsHounds / Media matters and other fact checking entities if you need "proof" that Fox News lies / distorts facts on a regular bases.
You are not going to be accurately informed about anything if you relay on Fox News for "news". All they do is outright lie & distort the facts to support their ultra-conservative agenda at any cost.

Trying to compare Fox News to the other real news organizations such as CNN, MSNBC, ABC and so on doesn't make any sense.
The obvious far-right bias is not the issue with Fox so called "news". The issue is the consistent blatant lies, distorting of facts and consumer fraud!
There's a real good reason why Fox News viewers are the most uninformed (by far) compared to viewers of ANY other network!

Good video catching Howard Dean in lies and contradictions.

@MagicByEli I've never heard of it! Have to check it out. I'm not saying FOX is lily-white, I just happen to believe that they are a ton better than any of these other so-called "news outlets"!!

@ThePalinPatriot If you're searching for unbiased news, I highly recommend Warren Olney's show on KCRW, "To the Point." It's very objective. Olney presents a topic, and invites several people from different viewpoints to discuss it. It's available on Itunes for free as a podcast, and it's my favorite news show.

Is MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, biased… a Teahead asks. The Teahead MISSES THE POINT. If the reporting is ACCURATE and FACTUALLY TRUE, it's fine to report it. The problem with FOXNEWS is that they LIE SO MUCH on camera. I wouldn't care if they did 100% anti-Obama news if the news was ACCURATE. Fact is, it's not. They have to LIE… and get caught so much, they're credibility is ZERO. No news organization could still call themselves news if they were caught as much as FOX was. Get it?!

@BoxOfOranges84 Ok. Whoa. Calme! Take a deep breath! :) You're citing "examples", but I'm not seeing any proof? How do you know it wasn't accurate? Also, Glenn Beck is not with Fox anymore. Plus the O'Reilly Factor and Glenn Beck were exactly what you called it, shows! That's not reporters or news. As for the muffin story, I heard that reported on CBS. And what did they say that was false about ACORN? ACORN is a bunch of thugs...lying, thieving, thugs. Any news on them is too fair!!
-
@ThePalinPatriot The $16 muffin, the $200M a day trip to India, and ACORN come to mind at first. I havent even touched on Glenn Beck. His whole show was lies. Oreilly brings on other liars so that he looks like the reasonable one. Megyn Kelly is a stupid rude bitch who interrupts her guests and gabs on and on about with facts she cant prove. I could go on, but there are hundreds, if not thousands, of people who took the time to record them and put it on Youtube, if you would like to see.
-
@BoxOfOranges84 Can you give me some examples of Fox lying? Do you have proof that they're biased? I'm not saying they're lily-white, but I find that I get a lot more "fair and balanced" coverage from them, rather than the other places.
-
@ThePalinPatriot Everyone is biased. Faux is cheap quality news, and they cant go a full 60 without lying
It's very simple.
FOX knows their audience. They know their racial make-up, their educational level, their living situations and their religious proclivities. So how hard is it to convince those people to kiss the hand that beats them? Not very hard.
As it is with religion, their main strategy is to create an 'enemy.' With an "us against them' mentality they can always protect themselves from truth and fact. It's all about belief. It appeals to the lowest common denominator for a reason.
