thought i'd try a new jonas sister story.
?- JOSEPH ADAM JONAS!
J- What is it Vanessa Anne? [Yup. That's me. The "Jonas sister" as I'm known around the world. That's Joe, one of my brothers. I have 1 older brother and 3 younger brothers. I'm the only girl, aka reason 1 of why my life sucks! 3 of my brothers are the Jonas Brothers, but unless you've been living in an underground pit cut off from civilization, you'd know that. Well let's get back to my horrible morning shall we?]
V- GET THAT STUPID LIZARD OFF MY BED, NOW!
Paul- What is all this yelling about so early in the morning?
V- Daddy, Joseph put a lizard on my bed. It was crawling on me when I woke up and it peed on my bed!
P- Joseph!
J- Yes dad?
P- Apologize to your sister. Then, you can take her bed outside and go buy her a new one, with your money. And I'm not giving you your allowance this week.
J- What?! But dad that's-
P- A wonderful idea and you'll do it. And you're greatful that it wasn't a month. Correct?
J- *sighs* Yes sir.
P- Apologize.
J- I'm sorry Ness.
V- It's okay, but I'm tired so while you go take the bed outside I will go sleep in your bed.
J- You sure you want to do that big sister? You don't know if German peed in my bed, too.
V- On second though, daddy can I go sleep in your room?
P- Sure honey. I'm leaving to work anyways. Oh, and Joseph you will do your sister's chores for today, seeing as she wasn't able to get her rest. Hope you learn your lesson son.
J- Yes sir. [dad hugged me and kissed my head then ruffled Joe's hair, as he descended down the stairs.]
V- Don't do my chores, I'll do them. I'll tell dad you did them, so you won't get in trouble.
J- Why are you being so nice?
V- Because Joe. My chores include mainly things around my room and let's face it you are not mature enough to touch half the things in my room.
J- Like what?
V- Bras, underwear, female products.
J- You don't need a bra yet. I don't care about your granny panties. And you are too young to have "female products".
V- Joe, I'm 16! I've had my period for over 3 years now. I don't wear granny panties and I do have bras!
J- Training bras don't count. I know what they call you at school Flat Board Jonas. [tears brimmed my eyes. They did call me that. I had no curves, at all...and the fact I had glasses and braces didn't help. Mom said that the Jonas women were late bloomers. Joe's face softened. He hugged me.] I didn't mean to hurt your feelings Ness.
V- Yeah well, too late for that. I'm going back to sleep.
J- I love you Steph.
V- Yeah whatever. [I turned around and walked to my parents room, tears still burning my eyes. I took off my glasses off to wipe them away. Joe could be the sweetest guy in the universe, or the most insensitive jerk on the planet. He's my brother, and I love him and all, but I wish he'd be nicer. he was leaving soon anyways, they all were. The boys were going on a 6 month tour and leaving me, Frankie, and mom behind. Dad was going back and forth, seeing as Frankie was only 5 and he needed to see his mom and dad. I on the other hand wished I could go on tour, so I could get away from all the cruelties I faced on a daily basis at school. That wasn't happenning so whatever. I'll get over it.]
*1 week later*
[I said goodbye to the guys and they got on the tourbus. Dad came over and hugged me and kissed my head. He told me to be good and then, he too got on the bus. Mom, Frankie and I stood there waving as they pulled away. All of us were crying. Mom was holding Frankie's hand and hugging me from the side. When we couldn't see them anymore we group hugged, still crying, and went back inside. These were going to be the longest 6 months of my life, but hopefully I'd do some growing in the mean time.]
