They sure look like racoons. Yet they eat bamboo and make a noise akin to a Giant Panda's when the mate. (Panda's whinnie like a horse, but really high-pitche.) Last I heard they were there own classification of animal. Not really Pandas, not really racoons. They sure look like racoons to me.
