David Hallyday is also the son of Sylvie Vartan, who happens to be my favorite singer! Soon after David was born, Sylvie sang a song about him called "Le Roi David" (King David). What an incredibly talented family! I saw both Sylvie Vartan and David Hallyday in Monte-Carlo on 09/29/2006. Sylvie sang "Mon Père", a song dedicated to her father Georges Vartan and it was David Hallyday who accompanied his mother on the grand piano! It was a very moving performance, one that I will never forget.
