I never said God doesn't love the hurting or suffering. Just because they suffer or hurt doesn't mean that God is absent. It's more that He is present in the midst of their suffering.

I guess I thought you might understand the spiritual world differently than I do. Satan, and hell. God and Heaven.

Good and evil. Sin and atonement. Love and a savior for our sin.

I was saying, and will say it again, "Praise GOD for saving these people!!" Not just clapping hands for sully. deserved though

And another thing. I'm not using the problem of evil as a disproof of god. Quite the contrary, YOU are using the fact the sometimes good things happen as proof of god, while I'm just demonstrating how that makes no sense.

Anyone who thinks god selectively intervenes to save them is very self-centered. They're somehow worthy but the children dying of starvation in poor countries are not.

Isn't it interesting that all of these "miracles" occur at the same rate you would expect by random chance.

oh good point. God must be someone who hates us all, and then loves us all. Right? So there must be no God, because how can a loving God allow bad things to happen in this world, unless His hand is in all the horribly wrong things as well. Hmmmmmmm.

Maybe we just live in an evil world, and God intervenes graciously to help those in need. And maybe He is so much bigger than our imagination that He can actually use bad things. Cause them, no. Use them, yes.

As someone wrote "There was no way for the pilot to know that the plane would hold together during the descent" The plane, despite how it is made, could have easily have came to pieces or killed everyone on impact.
